This stunning art piece is painted on raw canvas and attached to linen with antique brass tacks and framed in a vertical grain white oak frame.

 

A former art director from Homewood, Alabama, Laurel-Dawn Latshaw works with tactile layers, mixing mediums and materials, from acrylic and oil to pencil and charcoal. Her works aim to capture the uniquely “messy-but-delicate" artist process.
